Kia ora Quinn,
ReplyDeleteWhat an interesting read. I am glad you enjoy tennis. I bet you are missing being able to go to your club to practise. Do you have somewhere you can practise from home?
It is really great to have a goal. I am sure that with lots of practise and hard work you will be able to reach your goal to play interclub tennis.
Thanks for sharing,
:) Sharon - Te Ara Tūhura Education Programme Leader
Interesting Quinn, I didn't know that about you. I have never really enjoyed Tennis because I could never return the ball over the net - it's a hard game but I think I ended up having a fixed mindset about it and never tried again - my daughter loves the game.
ReplyDeleteI like cycling and walking mostly.
I am looking forward to seeing you play tennis sometime. What other things do you enjoy doing?
Hi Quinn
ReplyDeleteThat's great to hear! I love tennis and had lessons and played interclub when I younger. Sadly I don't play much anymore but you may have inspired me to pick up my racket again - funny that you blogged about tennis. Evelyn saw my racket in the garage the other day and asked if it was a guitar :)
I always found serving hard and backhands. What do you find difficult with tennis?
Hi there this is Quinn I reallly enjoy tennis and it would be great for me to play interclub. My dad says that I am pretty good with my backhands and I am feeling quite confordent with my serves. I started playing when I was six and on my second year Elsha and George played and didn't really enjoy it but I will keep playing because I really enjoy it. What I find hard in tennis is getting to the ball in time and I am starting to improve. Heikona!👍
ReplyDeleteAwesome Quinn - great response! I hope one day I am watching you play tennis on TV and you will be famous!
DeleteHi Quinn. Because of what you said it makes tennis sound fun! Your family must really like tennis.
ReplyDeleteHey Quinny! I just wanted to let you know that it's really great watching you play tennis. You've improved soooo much over the last few years! It will be really great when we can go somewhere with a big wall so you can practise your hitting again, won't it?
